Hi all! Just wanted to introduce some thing new: the NEW Milk Wood Rental Information & Covenant. Milk Wood has had a Covenant since the beginning, but it has been more of an informal one; and we knew a more formal one was needed that gave all the information a Resident required. Now we are pleased to announce that we have written a more detailed one for every one, that includes benefits, explanations, pricing, and rental covenant. As always, we are open to Qs!

Your Rights, Descriptions, and Community Guidelines

Thank you for choosing Milk Wood as your home! We are delighted to have you with us. Our goal is to provide a quiet, retreat atmosphere conducive to writing and inspiring creativity, while providing community! Anyone seeking quiet will find repose and inspiration here. Our roomy cottages, situated on quiet isles by peaceful water, OFFER :
[1] two large, cozy rooms with many decorating possibilities! The In world Covenant NC contains an NC for inspiration & pictures of furnishing possibilities (including Tiny); Click on any Rental box to receive it, or contact Therese Tammas and it will be gladly dropped to you!
[2] a large, warm blazing fire place with a mantle, and Touch on/off ability
[3] Tinted windows (at Touch) and doors (All have doors & operate by Touch; if your house appears to have none, Touch the doorway and it should reappear)

RENT PRICING & BACKGROUND
**Please read through thoroughly, especially 1st paragraph**
Milk Wood is the home of the Guild of UK Writers and our artist friends from around the world. Founded by Harriet Gausman, a teacher and writer not backed by any corporation in SL or RL; instead out of love of the written word and the desire to see others achieving their writing goals; provides a significant amount of the monthy expenses, helped by a lone sponsor. Without these contributions and the help from Rentals, small group fees and some donation, MIlk Wood would be unable to exist.

Our region is located in the Loch Lomond Estate, Scotland. They are currently Openspace sims and- after Dec. 31st, 2008- wil be Homestead sims. We DO NOT SEEK to profit by Milk Wood, but instead only charge to cover sim costs. Rent is payable MINIMUM 2 WEEKS and MAXIMUM 6 WEEKS. The Rental Price Chart is as follows :

65 Prims – L$455 a week
100 Prims – L$650 a week
150 Prims – L$975 a week
200 Prims – L$1200 a week
300 Prims – L$1800 a week

As Disclosure, once you pay Rent you will be invited ASAP into the MILK WOOD TENANTS’ ASSOCIATION group. To help cover sim costs that dont get covered in rentals we have a 50L one time group membership fee.

THE COVENANT
In return for your patronage, WE PLEDGE:
1- To be attentive and caring. For problems (not Special Requests) please see “FOR HELP” Section below.
2- To help assist with any problems that might arise, quickly. Please keep in mind that we do have RL responsibilities, however. We would appreciate 24 hours to assist.
3- To keep sim usage balanced so that Residents can enjoy their cottages at any time. As Disclosure, we have a Partnership with another literary group, Bookstacks, in which we exchange resources- we can assure you that it will not impact on the ablility for Residents to access and enjoy their homes. It will only double the fun factor in our public venues!

We do not ask much in way of a Covenant, always having trusted our Residents to be sensible about their prims. As a member of our Family, WE ASK THAT YOU:

1. Please keep to your prim limit.
2. If you drop things (i.e. a picnic basket, chair etc) outside the periphary of your home, please take them back to inventory.
3. Please try not to use objects that make use of temporary rezzers/prims. If you dont know what we mean by this, please contact Therese Tammas for an explanation:D. This third part is important for sim performance.

If you have any special requests as a Resident that are NOT related to problems, please contact Harriet Gausman and we will happily try to work out a solution for you.
