Whew, guys! We had a real rockin’ time yesterday with a mix of poetry from our own fridges, and from classic authors we love! We read poetry by Alexandre Pushkin, Thomas Moore, Edgar Allan Poe, Caroline Elizabeth Sarah Norton , Yeats- wow, and more! And a number of us read our own; thank you Rafe, Morgue and Simeon!!! It was really all a giant conspiracy to have fun….
First, much apologies to Thirza Ember – Thirza, I just realized just now that I haven’t got any pics of you!!
I’m sorry!! But think of it this way, Thirza was the special agent in this big conspiracy
… She definitely rocked the boat, folks!!
Harriet briefs us in our Mission
….
Morgue details on Plan A…. (Here she reads some of our classics!)
Simeon ponders and thinks, “Wow, a tough variety!” (And indeed it was- quality poetry folks!!0
More and more secret agents filtering in to listen to Plan A…
Secret Agent Lemonheart details Plan B- should Plan A- backfire on all of us (Mmm both plans would work quite well I think- both Morgue and Thirza chose awesome poetry!)
“The secret is in the sharing stone”
(By the way, some of our readers’ contributions can be found, still, here . See that dark dark stone, the most different one against all the other white stones? We have placed some of our shared poetry there for your enjoyment!)
All the other Agents had started leaving for their assignments, and left four of us to listen to some more of Rafe’s poetry!
It was just a really, really nice time. And then stragglers afterwards- just as you see, too, in the last picture above– just sat around and talked about writing and their dreams and (oddly) avatars. I got to put my puppy on, whoot!
Stay tuned for more mission assignments!! Who knows what next week will bring?
